She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Herndon and Eula Mae Herndon (Ketchem); her husband Alfred Aaron Rutledge; her children, Candace Mundy, Becky Costello, Cheryl Bruner, Alfred Rutledge, Jr. and Michael Rutledge; and her grandson Alfred Rutledge III.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Hatfield; and her grandchildren, Lisa Johnson, Jimmy Ragens, Theresa White, Amanda Hunt, Kevin Stewart, Troy Stewart, James Bruner Jr., Misty Stewart, John Rutledge, Carrie Cox, Nicole Hatfield, Andrew Workman and Katrina Schitter. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
