He is survived by: his wife Sarah Scherschel; his children, Vonda Stevens (Ken), Eric Scherschel (Wendy) and Andrea Scherschel (Jeff Corey); and his siblings, Donnie Scherschel and Mary Carol Jackson. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
