He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Deckard and Oral Nadine Deckard (Sears); his spouse Marilea Britt; and his siblings, Charles Albert "Bill", Rance, Mansel, Kenneth, Esther and Helen.
He is survived by: his children, Valerie Deckard of Bloomington and Jim Deckard (Marquita) of Bedford; his granddaughter Nokomis Deckard of Bedford; his sister-in-law Elizabeth Deckard of Bedford; and his caregivers, Rebecca, Linda and Alyssa. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
