He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Jones and Bessie Jones (Phillips); his wife Maggie Cobb; and his siblings, Reginald Phillips, Warren Jones, Wayne Jones, Dale "Big Boy" Jones, Doyle "Little Boy" Jones, Ilene Burton and Wyrtis Fitzgerald.
He is survived by: his children, Patti Brinegar (Jay) of Bedford, Kevin Jones (Kim) of Fayetteville and Steve Jones (Kandi) of Bedford. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial Contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in lieu of flowers.
