She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Anderson and Viola Fern Anderson (Abel); her husband Lowell Kent Hammond; and her siblings, Jerry, Carl, Buck Anderson and Linda Knight.
She is survived by: her sons, Greg Hammond (Cheryl) of Bedford and Gary Hammond (Susan) of Bedford; her grandchildren, Evan Hammond (Amber) of Gas City, IN, Eric Hammond (Sarah) of Mitchell and Emily Spoonmore (Justin) of Springville; and her siblings, Bill Anderson of Bedford and Nancy Smith (Tim) of Boiling Springs, SC.. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
