She was predeceased by : her parents, Oren Root and Jewell Root (Foster); her husband Paul L. Stevens; and her siblings, Irene McMahan, Virginia Ruth Fultz and Wilbur Root (Bill).

She is survived by : her daughters, Linnea Skeen (Jack) of Bedford, Dana Osborn (Scott) of Bedford and Karen Deckard (Kenny) of Bedford; her grandsons, Keith, Kevin Deckard, Justin and Jacob Osborn; and her great grandchildren, Londyn, Harper and Ellis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
