Wayne Gaither Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Wayne Gaither of Bedford, Indiana is shared. Wayne, born on January 29, 1940, passed away on September 21, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wayne Gaither to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis B. Gaither and Pauline Gaither (Green); his son Stephen Gaither; and his grandson Evan Gaither. He is survived by: his wife Neva Fish of Bedford; his sons, Brad Gaither (Amie) of Little Rock and Scott Gaither (Elizabeth) of Bedford; his grandchildren, Emma Gaither, Will Gaither (Anna), Sarah Deniston (David), Thomas Gaither, Sophia Gaither and Samantha Gaither; his great grandchild Oliver Gaither; his sisters, Bonnie Harville, Paula Gaither and Terri Hodges; and his brother-in-law Mark Fish.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Day & Carter Mortuary (1133 Lincoln Ave, Bedford, IN 47421). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
