As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Dewey Wayne may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Steele Myrick (Ardith) and Myrtle Lucille Seichrist (Paul); and his sister Jean Robinson (Fred). He is survived by: his wife Jane Myrick; his children, David Myrick (Rhonda) and Lisa Dunham (Robert); his sister Debbie Aaron (Lance); his granddaughters, Shanna Stuckey (Jacob) and Kristin Coyne; and his great grandchildren, Silas and Lincoln Stuckey.
The military honors will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Little & Sons Funeral Home (1301 Main St, Beech Grove, IN 46107). Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Hope Cemetery (450 S, Union Township, IN 46936).
