He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer McCreary and Lettie McCreary (Crumb); his wife Ruth McCreary; his son Bill McCreary; and his brothers, Warren and Walter.
He is survived by: his children, Bob McCreary (Sheila), Theresa Stokes (Tony), Sue Aton (Warren) and Tammy Sandefur (Brent); and his grandchildren, Don McCreary, Cindy Johnson, Julie Monroe, Lakshan Salgado, Tonya Salkie, Tracy Concannon, Camille Aton, Brittany Aton and James Sandefur.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Envive (501 N 17th Ave, Beech Grove, IN 46107). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Cliff Hill Cemetery.
