With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hoyett Skaggs of Beech Grove, Indiana, who passed away on October 16, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Hoyett farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Hoyett is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Skaggs and Viola Skaggs; his wife Dorothy Skaggs; and his sister Dora. He is survived by: his son Paul Skaggs, Sr.; his grandsons, Paul Skaggs (Amy) and Dustin Skaggs (Desiree); and his great grandchildren, Haylee and Serenity Skaggs.
