He is survived by: his son Tony Gilliland (Jennifer); his partner Red Anderson; his grandchildren, Courtney Hack (Brendan) and Claire Gilliland; his great grandchildren, Harper Anne Hack and Elsie Chandler Hack; and his sisters, Patty Abbott (Carl) and Susie Emberton.
