He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett M. Ray and Ruth Evelyn Ray (Bonar); his wife Donna Kay Ray (McCracken); his grandson Kevin William Wesley; and his son-in-law Anthony Parnell.
He is survived by: his children, Everett Ray of Prescott, AZ, Tina McWhorter (Steve) of Bennington, IN, Linda Parnell of Harrison, IN and Robert Ray, Jr. (Donna) of Lawrenceburg, IN; his granddaughters, Samantha Parnell (Shawn Ferguson), Donna York (Jonathan), Anna Ray and Summer Ray; his great grandchildren, Amelia Ferguson, Gracelynn Ferguson, Corbin York and Landen York; and his siblings, Gary Ray (Diana), Larry Ray (Judy), Phyllis Fellers (Norman) and Carolyn Harvey (Roger).
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home (208 Ferry St, Vevay, IN 47043). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
