The memory of Barbara Nussbaum of Berne, Indiana, who passed away on September 29, 2025 at the age of 96, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor E. Byerly and Alta C. Byerly (Barger); her husband Robert L. Nussbaum; her siblings, Delores Landis, Marjorie Byerly, Joan Liechty and Ronald Byerly; and her siblings-in-law, Edith, Donna Byerly, Loren Liechty and Harvey Landis.
She is survived by: her children, Kip Nussbaum (Becky) of Berne, IN, Pam Sheets (Phil) of Berne, IN and Karleen Sprunger (Ron) of Berne, IN; and her brother Wayne Byerly of Decatur, IN. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Dale Church of the Brethren (4504 W 300 N, Decatur, IN 46733). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to Pleasant Dale Making Room Fund.
