The family announces the passing of Carolyn Baker of Berne, Indiana on October 7, 2026. Carolyn, born on December 5, 1939, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Zimmerman and Irene Zimmerman (Rich); and her siblings, Ruth Ann Hamilton and Jerry Zimmerman. She is survived by: her husband Carl Baker; her daughters, Diann McDairmant (Dan) of Warsaw, Linda Thomas (Robert) of Cincinnati and Theresa Dick (Charles) of Berne, Indiana; and her sisters, Nancy Zimmerman of Fort Wayne and Wanda Zimmerman of Florida. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Downing & Glancy Funeral Home (100 Washington St, Geneva, IN 46740). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
