With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dianna Sue Morningstar of Berne, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 10, 2025 at the age of 74. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joyce V. Smitley and Rose Ann Smitley (Steinbrunner); and her close friends, Linda, Rita, Nancy and Rosemary.
She is survived by: her sons, Gregory Morningstar of Berne, IN and Shawn Morningstar of Union City, MI; her grandchildren, Shanda Fisher (Brad) of Berne, IN, Mitchell Morningstar of New Mexico, Mavrick Morningstar of Geneva, IN, Mason Morningstar of Union City, MI, Dillon Morningstar of Berne, IN and Madalynn Morningstar of Chicago, IL; her great grandchildren, Makaiah and Maddix Fisher; her siblings' children, Chad Smitley (Amy) and Faith Ellenberger (Luke); and her siblings, Stanley Smitley (Cathy) of Monroe, IN, Katrina Smitley of Clearwater, FL and Tammy Smitley-Hummel of Berne, IN.. She is also survived by 3 great nieces, 3 great nephews.
