With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jay E. Betts of Berne, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As Jay departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jay may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jay leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl E. Betts and Mable Devona Betts (Hedges). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Betts of Berne; and his children, Keith Betts (Sara) of Bluffton, IN., Kevin Betts of Berne and Christine Zimmerman (Brad) of Berne. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
