He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Runkle and Ruby Runkle (Dotson); and his sister Dorene Mikesell. He is survived by: his nephews, Alan Mikesell of Greenville, Ohio and Rodney Mikesell (Stephanie) of Greenville, Ohio.
