She is survived by: her children, Sam L. Girod (Ernestine) of Syracuse, Indiana, Emanuel L. Girod (Emma E.) of New Haven, Ernest L. Girod (Maryann E.) of Monroe, Simon L. Girod (Judy M.) of Berne, Enos L. Girod (Catherine K.) of Monroe, Indiana, Leah L. Schwartz (Joe M.) of Monroe, Emma L. Byler of Salem, Lovina L. Schwartz (Alvin J. L.) of Monroe, Elizabeth L. Schwartz (Marvin N. S.) of Monroe, Martha L. Schmidt (David A.) of Monroe and Saloma L. Wickey (Levi K.) of Monroe, Indiana; her daughter-in-law Marie F. Girod of Harlan, Indiana; her sisters, Emma Schwartz of Monroe and Saloma Hilty (Elmer K.) of Geneva, Indiana; and her sisters-in-law, Lavina L. Schwartz of Monroe, Rachel Girod of Holmes County and Clara Girod of Salem, Indiana. She is also survived by 130 grandchildren, 283 great-grandchildren, and 28 great-great-grandchildren.
