She was predeceased by: her parents, Dexter D. Steed and Leta L. Steed (Bechdolt); her husband John W. Price; her brother Wayne E. Steed; and her grandson Adam Lare.
She is survived by: her children, Penny Byers (Michael) of Fort Wayne, Indiana and William D. Lare of Paris Crossing, Indiana; her sister-in-law Sue Ann Steed of Redkey, Indiana; her grandchildren, Chad Byers (Janna), Molly Yarling (Karl), Abby Willoughby (Brooke) and Nathan Byers (McKenzie); and her great grandchildren, Bailey, Wyatt, Leyton, Case, Grace, Brittany, Maesie, Charlie, Quincy, Kashton, Colbie, Leo and Luca.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home - Berne (365 W Main St, Berne, IN 46711). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Preferred memorials are to Cross Community Church, Berne, or Swiss Village.
