With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael S. O'Dell of Berne, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 17, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack L. O'Dell and Jacqueline J. O'Dell (Gleason); and his siblings-in-law, Jeff Whitehurst and Becky Love. He is survived by: his wife Debra O'Dell of Berne, Indiana; his son Jessie O'Dell (Jaci) of Berne, Indiana; his siblings, Debbie Fenwick (Randy) of Middlebury, Indiana, Kathleen Whitehurst of Decatur, Indiana and Timothy O'Dell (Vicky) of Middlebury, Indiana; his sister-in-law Sally Bailey (Jeff) of Plant City, Florida; and his grandchildren, Vivian O'Dell, Grant O'Dell and Easton O'Dell.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home- Yager-Kirchhofer Chapel (365 W Main St, Berne, IN 46711).
Preferred memorials can be given to the Faithbuilders Sunday School Class.
