Roger Bixler Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Bixler of Berne, Indiana, who passed away on May 19, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bixler and Lucile Bixler (Kattmann); his wife Emma Jane Nussbaum; and his sisters, Carolyn Steiner, Margaret Kwok and Janet Bixler.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Ruse (Pastor Ron) of Truro, Jill Jones (Pastor William) of New York and Karen Austin (Pastor Matt) of Stevens, Pennsylvania; and his grandchildren, Laura, David, Krista, Alaina, Lynnette, Bill, Garrett, Brad, Cherie, Jennifer and Kate. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Preferred memorials are to the Swiss Village Samaritan Fund, Gospel Fellowship Association Mission, or Ohio Bible Fellowship.
