He is survived by: his wife Donna Excell-Steffel; his children, Lori and Christoper (Amy); his grandchildren, Jeremy Tufnell (Alyson), Jessie Tackett (Ben), Steven Dyke (Lizzy), Evan Dyke, Violet, Iris and Margeaux "Daisy" Anderson; and his brothers, William (Gail) and Ric (Catherine). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
