He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Howard and Hazel Howard (Severs); his wife Barbara; and his son Rod Howard (Barbara). He is survived by: his son Bradley R.; his daughter-in-law Betty Jo Howard; his granddaughters, Brandee Farrington (Dan), Brooke Evens and Amber Howard; his stepchildren, Donna Terrell, Glen Terrell, Estella Bays, Gilbert Buskirk and Kenneth Buskirk; and his stepgranddaughter Cheryl Noonan. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Prairie Chapel Cemetery.
