He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Lee and Susan Nel Smith (Bernardi); and his brother Daniel Coy Smith. He is survived by: his children, Ryan Smith (Karen) of Dallas and Brandie Petry (Adam) of Birdseye; his grandchildren, Breck Smith, Kai Smith, Finnick Smith, Laney Vaughn and Liam Petry; and his siblings, Bob Smith, Bill Smith, Joe Smith and Angel Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
