With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Joan McGlothlin of Bloomfield, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 5, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Frye and Georgia Frye (Mullis); her husband Louie Eugene "Gene" McGlothlin; her brothers, Donald and Kenneth Frye; her grandson Tyler McGlothlin; and her grandmother Ina Mullis.
She is survived by: her children, James McGlothlin, Rhonda Hendricks (Jim) and Pam Poe (George); her grandchildren, Jayme Porter (Justin), Charles Hendricks (Cassi), Brant McGlothlin (Alexis), Bryce McGlothlin (Lexy) and Nick Poe; her great grandchildren, Shaylin, Madison, Zylah, Ayden, Caden and Aspen; and her brother Dave Frye (Peggy).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lester Jenkins and Sons Funeral Home Inc. - Bloomfield (421 S Seminary St, Bloomfield, IN 47424). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
