He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Burch and Mary Burch; and his sisters, Louise Cummings (Charles) and Marybelle Peloso (Jim). He is survived by: his brothers, Edward Burch (Maudie) of Hobbieville, Indiana, Robert Burch (Erma) of Bloomington, Indiana and Charles Burch (Rhonda) of Bloomfield, Indiana.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Stone Belt ARC or Eastern Fire Territory.
