It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Ricky Lee of Bloomfield, Indiana, who passed away on May 16, 2026, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. As David departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though David may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy David leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Sylvester Lee and Patricia Lee Ward (Oliphant); his daughter Lori Ann VanDeventer; and his sister Brenda Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn S. Lee; his daughter Jolene Meredith; and his brothers, Harold and Dennis Lee.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Scotland Community Church.
