He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Wilma Cox (Dilley) and Walter Dexter Cox; and his brother Bobby Cox. He is survived by: his wife Joanna Kay Cox (Hauser); his daughters, Sherri Stumph (Tom), Cindy Roberson (Leon) and Kathy Clark; his grandchildren, Michelle Rawls (Ryan), Chelsea Mueller (Jon), Kayla O'Byrne (Charles), Julia Kyriakakos (Jamie), Aubrey Lawson (Tim), Sarah Ruperto (Logan) and Mariah Clark; his great grandchildren, Corinne Lawson, Leonis Mueller, Maverick Lawson and Theodore Kyriakakos; his siblings-in-law, Betty Cox and Terry Hauser (Rosie); his nephew Kenny Cox (Elaine); and his cousin Mark Dilley (Beth).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Samaritan's Purse, or Gideons International.
