He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Wiles (Linthicum) and Wilbert "Wig" Wiles; his brother Wilbert C. Wiles; his stepdaughter Jodi Koontz; his grandchild Jarius Edward Knnotz; his great grandchild Jarius Blaine Koontz; and his nephew Bruce Wiles.
He is survived by: his wife Bertha Wiles; his stepchildren, Amy Martin and Tom Norris (Amy); his grandchildren, Christopher Knootz (April), Stephen Martin (Maddie), Rachel Walker (Jordan), Johanna, Jonathan Martin, Carl, Henry and Joe Norris; his great grandchildren, Lila and Nicolas Knootz; and his nephew Brian Wiles.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Local Food Pantries or IU Health Hospice House (2810 S. Deborah Drive, Bloomington, In. 47403).
