He was predeceased by: his parents, Arter Thompson and Ora Thompson (Powell); his sisters, Virga Huett (Millard) and Elaine Thompson; his daughter Catherine Thompson; his stepson Tony VanDeventer; and his granddaughters, Brittany and Stephanie Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Thompson; his sons, Timothy Thompson (Sondra), Jeffrey Thompson (Crystal) and Christopher Thompson; his stepdaughters, Kim VanDeventer, Larrysa VanDeventer and Donni VanDeventer; his grandchildren, Joshua Thompson (Jayme), Leairra Thompson, Gavin Thompson (Katie) and Derek Thompson; his stepgrandson Vince VanDeventer; his great grandchildren, Jasye Thompson, Tye Thompson, Griffyn Thompson and Jocelyn Thompson; and his brothers, Vernon Thompson (Peggy) and Keith Thompson (Shelia).
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Switz City Full Gospel Church (227 East St, Switz City, IN 47465). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery, The family ask that any memorial donations in Lloyd's name be given to Walnut Grove Cemetery.
