He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard "Pete" Watkins and Alta "Meg" Watkins (Dilley); his wife Linda L. "Kay" Watkins; his brother Butch Watkins; and his sister-in-law Lois Jean Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Thacker (John), Dianne Dyer (Mike) and David Watkins (Jessy); his grandchildren, Nick Thacker (Jocelyn), Tori Thacker and Addy Jensen; his great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Lucas and Lexi Thacker; and his siblings-in-law, Don Miller and Kathy Watkins.
