He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Massey and Helen Massey (Kern); his wife Shirley Joan Ray Massey; his sons, Robert D. Massey and John J. Massey; his grandson Jeremy Newnum; and his siblings, Bob, Joe, Fred, Charles "Bud" Massey, Catherine "Sissy" Canger and Mickey Canger.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cathy Cuthbertson of Rockville, Theresa Watness of Beech Grove, Margaret Aughenbaugh of Tangier and Diane Wood of Bloomingdale; and his brother Edward Massey. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials should friends so desire may be made to the Parke County Golf Course, 1640 US-41, Rockville, Indiana, in Lee's memory.
