It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alberta Mae McConnell of Bloomington, Indiana, who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Alberta Mae has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Allen Funeral Home and Crematory (4155 S Old State Rd 37, Bloomington, IN 47401). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Indiana University Health Hospice House.
