He was predeceased by: his brother David Austin Rollison; and his grandparents, Fred Byers, Hilda and Herbert Coffey. He is survived by: his parents, Lisa Stieglitz (Byers) and Herbert "Marshall" Coffey; his children, Kash Michael Coffey and Willow Morgan Coffey; his siblings, Derek Rollison and Meredith Russ; his grandmother Beverly Byers; his aunts, Linda Britton (Jim), Lori Newsom, Marjorie Skidmore (Mike), Wanda Brown (David) and Gwen Beauchamp (Phil); and his uncle Steve Coffey (Sara). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pets Alive in honor of Alex, and his love for animals.
