He was predeceased by: his parents, Easton Frank Shuffitt and Ellen Lee Shuffitt (Hurt); and his former wife Dixie Lee Shuffitt. He is survived by: his wife Pat Shuffitt; his daughters, Floria Hepburn, Lisa Neal and Robin Grogan; his stepchildren, William Edward Furr, Paul Wayne Furr and Rachel Abrell; and his great grandchild Joseph Neal. He is also survived by several grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and great grandchildren; he is also survived by one brother and two sisters.
The family ask that any memorial donation in Wayne's name be given to Riley Children's Hospital or Make a wish Foundation in his name.
