He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett William Sexton and Sarah Elizabeth (Butcher); his siblings, Larry Gene Sexton, Perry Phillip Sexton and Shirley Weddle; and his father-in-law Foster E. Curry.
He is survived by: his wife Lee Ann (Curry); his children, Lisa Stout (Don) of Greenwood, IN, Brent (Shellie Mann-Carr) of Greenwood, IN, Craig (Michele Malafronte) of Elizabethtown, KY and Barry Sexton, Jr. of Ellettsville, IN.; his stepchildren, Aaron Adams (Tracy) of Bloomington, IN. and Tracie Mathews of Bloomington, IN.; his siblings, Luther Sexton and Marilyn Paxton; and his mother-in-law Fredonna Curry. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, two step grandchildren, two great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
