It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Hood of Bloomington, Indiana, who passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufo Rainey and Eva Rainey; her husband Vic; her siblings, Ralph Baker (Lillian), Bill Rainey (Linda), Mildred Sipes (Kenneth), Marie Goodman, Sue Ellen Rainey, Della Jones (Junior) and Phyllis Sturgis (Richard); and her son-in-law Chad Gottschalk.
She is survived by: her children, Vickie Williamson (Gary), Karen Gottschalk (Mark Jones) and Tracy Hood (Mica); her grandchildren, Andy Gottschalk, Lexi Gottschalk, Shelby Stanley (Kyle), Mitchell Williamson, Whitney May (Noah), Dawson Hood, Wes Cowden and Addleigh Cowden; her great grandchildren, Lily Gottschalk, Izzy May and Lincoln May; and her caregiver Anna.
