He is survived by: his wife Rhea Simms (Mercer); his children, Jennifer Simms and Kris Simms (Jessica); his grandchildren, Hayden, Hudson and Aliza Simms; his siblings, Jackie Cain (Jeff), Debbie Stapp and Vickie Fulton; his close friend Tom Hinkle; his parents-in-law, Terri Pugsley (Tom), Keith Mercer (Kathy) and Mark Brumleve (Debbie); and his pets, Reggie and Gizmo.
