He is survived by: his mother Treva Day-Aynes (Freeman); his son Bobby Day (Savanah); his grandchildren, Kinzlee Day and Hudson Day; his brother Balford Gene Day, Jr. (Brenda); his niece Megan Stierwalt (Kyle); his brother Douglas Day; his niece Jolene Wagner (Casey); and his stepsister Donna Brosman.
