David E. Sherlock Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2025, at the age of 94, David E. Sherlock (Bloomington, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Avy Sherlock and Mary Iona Connor; his siblings, Edward, Ruth Heltonburg, Lois Hickman and Luzetta Frye; his wife Evelyn Fern Eads; his daughters, Marlene Sherlock May (Roger May) and Joy Sherlock Terrell (Doug Terrell); and his grandson Chris May.
He is survived by: his sisters, Phyllis Hunter and Louise Jones; his children, J. Nathan Sherlock, MD (Larry Eakle) and Janette Sherlock Milbourn; his grandchildren, Greg May, Chad May, Morgan Rediger, Justin Milbourn and Korryn Barrow; his great grandchildren, Kiara May, Kayley May, Emma May, Jayden May, Suzanna May, Abigale May, Evelynn May, Cannon Rittenhouse, Cora Rediger, Callie Rediger, Nolan Milbourn, Norah Milbourn, Elowyn Milbourn, Benjamin Barrow and Adalynn Barrow; and his great great grandchild Ellie Meadows.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Highland Village Church (515 S Curry Pike, Bloomington, IN 47403). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Allen Funeral Home (4155 S Old State Rd 37, Bloomington, IN 47401). A graveside service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Clover Hill Cemetery.
