She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Livingston and EmmaZetta Livingston (Adamson); her daughter Paula Sue Douthitt-Rush; her son-in-law David Douthitt-Rush; and her brothers, Harold Eugene "Gene" Livingston and Arnold Dean Livingston.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Szarkowicz; her son Mike Douthitt (Bonnie); her stepdaughter Amy Burns (Bruce); her sister Judy Micek (Jim); her grandchildren, Amanda Buckman (Jason), Emma Cassidy (Shane), Maggie Douthitt (George), Katie Scarlet McNeely (Brandon), Chelsea Hayes (Bobby), Ryan Anderson and Ben Anderson; and her great grandchildren, Violet Buckman, Boone Buckman, Tabitha Buckman, Evie Cassidy, Cooper Cassidy, Jordan McNeely, Memphis McNeely, Olivia McNeely, Aiden Hayes and Quinn Hayes.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Funeral Chapel and Crematory of Powell (3000 E 3rd St, Bloomington, IN 47401). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the The Funeral Chapel (3000 E 3rd St, Bloomington, IN 47401).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Deanna's memory to the American Red Cross – Southeast Chapter 441 S. College Ave. Bloomington, IN 47403.
