It is with sadness that the passing of Deborah Kay Vandercook (Bloomington, Indiana) is shared. Deborah, born on October 7, 1957, passed away on August 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father John F. Kollman; her husband David Vandercook; her siblings, John L. Kollman II, Katherine Kollman, Maria Elizabeth England and Teresa Lookatch; her sister-in-law Catherine Kollman of Iowa Park, Texas; and her aunts, Judith Thompson, Shirley Russell and Alice Dunsford.
She is survived by: her mother Patricia Kollman of Ellettsville; her son Christopher Vandercook of Ellettsville; her nephews, Colin England of Bloomington and J. D. Kollman of Iowa Park, Texas; and her niece Stephanie McGovern of Ellettsville.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John the Apostle Catholic Church (4607 W State Rd 46, Bloomington, IN 47404). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Mary's Children Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Deborah's memory to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
