He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Louis E. Pate and Wilma Pate (Wood); and his brothers, Keith W. Pate, Louis R. Pate and Marvin L. Pate.
He is survived by: his daughter Molly Blade (Kelly); his siblings, Mike Pate (Jackie) and Beth Hillenburg (Danny); and his sister-in-law Terry Pate. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and friends.
