He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Philip Koontz and Mary Lee Koontz; his sons, Kevin (Ashley) and Scott Koontz; and his brothers, Jim (Mary) and Andy Koontz (Elaine). He was also cherished by three grandchildren, a niece and 3 nephews.
