He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Donald, Helen Jones, Russell and Dorothy Weller; and his uncles, Harold Elliot and Dr. Theodore Appel.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Held of Bloomington, IN; his parents, Russell Weller and Dianne Weller of Northbrook, IL.; his sister Debbie Weller of Chicago, IL; his stepchildren, Hannah Held of New York City, NY, Josh Held, Makayla, AJ and Darian; and his aunts, Debbie Appel and Marilyn Elliott.
