She was predeceased by: her parents, Wanda (Hazel) and Todd (Wampler); her stepfather Leo Wampler (Wanda); her parents-in-law, Sam and Margaret Emmons; and her siblings, Mimie Ann Todd and Donald Todd (Phyllis).
She is survived by: her husband Gary Lee Emmons; her siblings-in-law, Phyllis Todd and John Emmons; her son Samuel Lee Emmons (Mary Lou East); her granddaughters, Stephanie Axtell of Cary, NC and Kelsey Grimm (Matthew) of Bloomington; her great grandchildren, Marlowe Katherine and Hazel Mae Grimm; and also Katherine Haseman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Donetta's name can be made to St. Paul Methodist Church, or to the charity of one's choice.
