Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Emalou Harman Schaffer (Bloomington, Indiana), born in Lynn, Indiana, who passed away, on October 18, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyne Harman and Cecil Harman; her husband Dr. James Schaffer; and her grandson James Benjamin. She is survived by: her children, Edith Knapp (Greg), James Jr. Schaffer (Claire), Daniel Schaffer (Julie) and Anne Ilvarsonn (Richard); her grandchildren, Leslie, Gregory, Jean, Jocelyn, Evan and Wren; and her sister Sue Ann Russell. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, Emalou requested persons make a donation to the charity of their choice.
