It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ernestine Berman of Bloomington, Indiana, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on October 17, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Soumakis and Cathryne Soumakis (Saponis); her siblings, Teddy Soumakis, Steve Soumakis and Elena Alexopoulos; and her nephew Matt Soumakis.
She is survived by: her husband Henry Samuel Berman; her sons, Mark Berman (Lisa), David Berman (Celeste) and Paul Record; and her grandchildren, Nicholas, Tehya, Tommy, Alexis and Cecilia. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
