He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Wampler and Ethel Wampler (Bagwell); his children, Ted Wampler and Robin Hubbard; and his sister Betty Sturgeon.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Wampler; his children, Wallace Wampler (Nancy), Fred Wampler and Alice Minnix (Ron); his stepsons, Gary Sowders (Nancy) and Johnny Sowders (Teresa); and his siblings, Virginia Stiffler, Darlene Clark, William Wampler, John Wampler and Mike Wampler (Robin). He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Family Life Church (8449 N Fox Hollow Rd, Bloomington, IN 47408). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
