He was predeceased by: his parents, James K. Duckworth and Maggie Duckworth (Hartline); his wife Sandra Duckworth (Meidell); his daughters, Deborah Duckworth and Toni Workman; his great grandchild James Alford; his grandson-in-law Jason Tucker; and his brother Sherrill Duckworth.
He is survived by: his children, James K. Duckworth II and Karen S. Gavelek (Greg); his grandchildren, Elijah Duckworth and Heidi Tucker; his great grandchild Noah Alford; his brother Jerrell Duckworth (Sherry); and his sister-in-law Ann Duckworth.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Funeral Chapel and Crematory of Powell (3000 E 3rd St, Bloomington, IN 47401). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 at the Chambersville Cemetery.
